I'm very proud to announce that Mary and I won the rematch in the bocce ball game today. It doesn't really matter that the other team failed to show and we won by a forfeit on their part. We'll take a win any way we can. Sorry Jon and Dan....tough luck for you.
Tonight was the shark hunting expedition. Chris, Mike, and Dan tried chumming for shark tonight. They had an eager group of spectators as the beach was as beautiful tonight as I've ever seen it....breezy, cool, perfect. The last I checked, no sharks had been pulled in. That didn't seem to dampen the excitement for the guys though.
Chris and Niki and the girls leave tomorrow as well as Laurie, Steve and their crew. No new arrivals expected so we are mostly saying goodbyes from here on our....with many promises of returning next year.

- Hi, we're Deb, a retired teacher, and Glenn, a retired telephone man. We are the parents of two sons and one daughter, grandparents of 4 grandchildren, and we love to travel. Many, but not all, of our trips are taken in a 33 foot Damon Challenger motor home. Often we have our old, spoiled Irish Setter, Lucky, and our Yorkie puppy, Sparkle, with us. Our favorite times to travel are in the fall and spring because for thirty years, summer was the only option. We have taken some interesting, fun trips and thought you might enjoy following along with us.

It don't matter if your boyfriend wants to play cornhole or not. The rest of you would have a blast.

and it never did matter! ha.
i have heard lots of folks loving cornhole. wanted glenn to make one for the kids one time but he didn't think he had the skills to do it. bocce ball is fun and it comes in this tiny little case that is easy to carry and it don't take no skills at all, especially when the other team doesn't show!
